Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Municipal Engineering intern to join our teams in Atlanta, GA or Augusta, GA. You will work on municipal infrastructure projects, including design tasks, field inspections, and coordination with professional engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil/Construction/Environmental Engineering degree with strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. Travel to project sites and mentorship are available during the internship period.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Construction, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage assignments and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist with municipal engineering projects including design tasks and field inspections.
• Support project teams across multiple municipalities and sites.
• Contribute to engineering analyses and documentation as needed.
