Job summary

Van Cleef Engineering, a multi-disciplinary firm in Pottstown, PA, is seeking a Municipal Engineer - Project Manager to lead municipal projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies to deliver road, drainage, and land development initiatives while managing client relationships.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PA PE, 7+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PA PE license required; CME/CFM/PP a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience in site development preferred.
• Public testimony before Land Use Boards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal engineering projects (roads, drainage, land development).
• Coordinate capital improvement projects for public sector clients.
• Oversee design, budgeting, and schedules; manage client relations.
• Review shop drawings and project documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff development.
• Develop proposals and assist with marketing and new business opportunities.
