Job summary

Artheon in Cape May Court House, NJ, seeks a civil engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our municipal-focused team. You will contribute to transportation, water, stormwater, and infrastructure projects, moving from planning through permitting and construction with mentorship and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of civil, municipal, or site/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Demonstrated progress toward Professional Engineer licensure with goal within 6–12 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort with public meetings and municipal coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivisions, and capital projects for compliance with ordinances and standards.
• Prepare technical review letters, reports, and recommendations for clients and boards.
• Support planning and zoning boards, coordinating with applicants and stakeholders.
• Contribute to design of municipal infrastructure improvements and related documentation.
