Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Municipal Engineer in Berlin, NJ. The role targets a 2–5 year civil/municipal experience profile with an EIT certification and a clear path toward PE licensure. You will work on public-sector projects across transportation, water, stormwater, and infrastructure, from planning through design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• 2–5 years of relevant civil/municipal/site/infrastructure experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required and PE licensure path planned.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivisions, and capital projects for compliance with ordinances and standards.
• Prepare technical letters, engineering reports, and recommendations for clients and boards.
• Support planning and zoning board meetings and coordinate with applicants and stakeholders.
• Contribute to design of municipal infrastructure improvements including roads, drainage, and utilities.
• Assist in development of plans, specs, cost estimates, and technical documentation for CIP projects.
• Perform engineering calculations related to grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
