Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Civil & Municipal Engineer to join our Barnegat, NJ team, focusing on municipal infrastructure, transportation, water and wastewater, stormwater, and related projects.

The role targets candidates with 2–5 years of civil engineering experience, an EIT certification, and a clear path toward PE licensure within 6–12 months. You will contribute to design, permitting, and construction-support activities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of civil, municipal, or site/infrastructure engineering experience.
• EIT certification required; progress toward PE licensure expected within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivisions, and capital improvement projects for compliance with ordinances and standards.
• Prepare technical review letters, reports, and recommendations for municipal clients and boards.
• Support planning and zoning board meetings with engineering input and coordination with applicants.
