Job summary

Key Construction seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee municipality projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will manage estimates, planning, vendor selections, and contract administration while ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build positive client relationships. A valid driver’s license is required and the role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• 10 years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager.
• Emphasis on municipality projects is required for this role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and excellent presentation skills are required.
• Strong organization, leadership, negotiation, and delegation skills are required.
• Proven ability to develop lasting, positive customer relationships.
• Must be able to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse people, both on an individual basis as well as within group situations.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist preconstruction with estimates and detailed project plans.
• Participate in development and delivery of project proposals.
• Champion the project turnover from preconstruction to construction.
• Participate in and/or drive scope comparisons, vendor selections, and contract administration.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Oversee project construction to monitor compliance with contract, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Perform project reviews to ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Provide status reports regarding project milestones, budget, deliverables, deficiencies, risks and issues.
