Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of field experience in construction observation with a civil engineering consulting or construction management firm.
• 3-5 years of field experience in construction and materials testing of site, roads, concrete and utility construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with client relationships related to land development construction and capital improvement projects.
• Observe construction activities and document conformance with plans, standards, and specifications.
• Promptly report deviations from approved plans and issues to project manager and contractor supervisor.
• Prepare daily field reports summarizing field operations, plan deviations, and corrective actions.
• Communicate regularly with the project manager and municipal representatives.
• Read and interpret project plans and convey design intent to subcontractors and field personnel.
