AlphaGov, operating as Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov, seeks a Municipal Classification & Compensation Consultant to lead the civilian-workforce workstream on an active study for the City of Myrtle Beach, SC. This remote-first, 1099/project-based role includes travel as needed for client on-sites.

You will review the civilian classification structure, develop pay-grade options, benchmark against peers, and present findings to project leadership for client-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• Leadership in municipal classification and compensation studies.
• Public-sector HR consulting background.
• Willingness to work as a 1099/project-based collaborator with travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civilian-workforce classification structure review (≈270 titles).
• Develop civilian pay-grade recommendations and implementation options.
• Conduct market benchmarking versus peer municipalities.
• Present findings to project leadership and contribute to client-ready deliverables.
• Contribute leadership qualifications and past-performance narratives to proposals when permitted.
