AlphaGov, operating as Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov, seeks a Municipal Classification & Compensation Consultant to lead the civilian-workforce workstream on an active study for the City of Myrtle Beach, SC. This remote-first, 1099/project-based role includes travel as needed for client on-sites.

You will review the civilian classification structure, develop pay-grade options, benchmark against peers, and present findings to project leadership for client-ready deliverables.

Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

AlphaGov is seeking a Municipal Classification & Compensation Consultant to lead the civilian-workforce workstream on an active municipal classification and compensation study (City of Myrtle Beach, SC - proposal due early October 2026).

What you'll do:

• Lead the civilian-workforce classification structure review (approximately 270 titles)
• Develop civilian pay-grade recommendations and implementation options
• Conduct market benchmarking versus peer municipalities
• Present findings to project leadership and contribute to client-ready study deliverables
• Contribute municipal class/comp leadership qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
