Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Classification & Compensation Analyst to support an active municipal classification and compensation study (City of Myrtle Beach, SC – proposal due early October 2026). The role is remote-first with occasional client travel.

You will review job descriptions, administer salary surveys and analyze market data, perform equity analyses, draft recommendations, and contribute to proposals when allowed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing classification and compensation analysis.
• Experience administering salary surveys and comparing market data.
• HR data analysis skills enabling internal equity assessments.
• Comfortable as a 1099/project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client sites.
