Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Jefferson, IA is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the 2027 summer season. This on-site internship offers hands-on experience supporting municipal infrastructure projects alongside engineers and project managers.

You will spend much of the summer in the field on construction phase activities for transportation projects and build technical skills for a future engineering career. Relocation and housing are not included.

Competenze

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited college or university.
• GPA relevant to program and coursework; numerical target 2.8 minimum.
• Sophomore year or above with surveying and drafting coursework preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Assist on civil engineering projects involving planning and design tasks.
• Support preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation and staking activities.
• Contribute to design calculations and review of shop drawings when assigned.
