Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) is seeking a municipal civil engineer to plan, design, and oversee public infrastructure projects to improve local communities.

You will work with water, wastewater, roadways, and drainage initiatives and coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies. This in-person role requires a four-year civil engineering degree, four+ years of related experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and a Maryland or Delaware PE license (or the ability to obtain within 12 months

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in civil engineering required.
• Four+ years of related experience preferred.
• Maryland or Delaware PE license or licensure within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and permit municipal/public works projects using CAD tools.
• Assist municipalities with plan reviews and coordination with regulatory agencies.
• Prepare funding applications, reports, and grant-related documents.
• Perform construction administration duties including procurement and change orders.
• Attend municipal meetings and public hearings as required.
• Coordinate permitting with local agencies and stakeholders.
