Job summary

Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) seeks a civil engineer to perform municipal design and project oversight for public infrastructure in Milford, Delaware. The role emphasizes stormwater, water, wastewater, and roadway design with a focus on regulatory coordination and project management.

The ideal candidate has a four-year civil engineering degree, 4+ years of experience, and a PE license in MD or DE or the ability to obtain it within 12 months. This is an in-person position only.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee municipal/public works projects.
• Assist with plan reviews and coordination with regulatory agencies.
• Prepare funding applications, reports, and grants.
• Perform construction administration including procurement, submittals, and pay requisitions.
• Attend municipal meetings and public hearings; coordinate permitting.
