Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer/Project Manager in Greencastle, IN. You will lead design and planning for water mains and utilities, manage projects from concept to completion, and serve as the client liaison across multiple offices.

The role emphasizes coordination with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory submissions, and proposal support in a dynamic environment with a regional Indiana footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of utility design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary and storm sewer projects.
• Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
• Develop design documents and specifications for bidding.
• Submit construction permits to regulatory agencies.
• Manage municipal utility projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication.
• Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver integrated engineering services.
• Support proposal development and participate in qualifications submissions.
• Engage daily with project teams in a multi-discipline, multi-office environment.

Working with our Municipal Engineering team, you willwork on a variety of municipal projects and work with several multidisciplinary professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary and storm sewer projects.
