Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a Senior Municipal Water & Wastewater Engineering Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH to lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary/storm sewers across multiple projects.

You will manage projects from concept to completion, prepare master plans and engineering reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while engaging clients to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registered Professional Engineer license preferred (Ohio PE), others may qualify with Ohio licensure within six months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to travel to project/client sites within Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary/storm sewer projects.
• Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
• Develop design documents and specifications for bidding.
• Submit construction permits to regulatory agencies.
• Manage municipal utility projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technical staff across offices to deliver integrated services.
• Support proposal development and qualifications submissions.
• Engage daily with project teams in a multi-discipline, multi-office environment.

Location: Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH, Columbus, OH

Working with our Municipal Engineering team, you will work on a variety of Water, Wastewater and Municipal projects and work with our team of multidisciplinary professionals.

What You'll Do

• Lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary and storm sewer projects.
• Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
• Develop design documents and specifications for bidding.

• Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver integrated engineering services.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in utility design.
• Registered Professional Engineer. (Ohio PE license preferred. Candidates with a PE license in another state must be able to obtain Ohio licensure within six months of hire.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project and client sites within Ohio as needed.
