Responsibilities

• Review engineering plans and specifications; oversee construction in the field.
• Prepare technical bid specifications; evaluate contractor proposals; coordinate with City departments and outside agencies.
• Monitor construction methods and materials; approve adjustments for field conditions.
• Manage outside contractors; review project invoices; supervise inspectors and staff.
• Serve as a key point of contact for residents, businesses and contractors; communicate project schedules and updates.
