Qualifications

• NJ CMFO certification or pending status.
• Local government financial management experience in New Jersey.
• Experience preparing municipal budgets and financial statements.
• Experience with debt statements, audits, and grant/escrow accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Treasury, Tax Collection, Utility Collection and Tax Assessment.
• Prepare and manage the yearly municipal budget with input from the Borough Administrator.
• Maintain a fully functional General Ledger for all funds and handle bank reconciliations.
• Prepare Annual Debt Statement, Annual Financial Statement and Supplemental Debt Statements.
• Coordinate audits with auditors; manage State, Federal and I-Bank funding streams.
