Qualifications

• Maintains general ledger accounts and supporting financial records in accordance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
• Prepares journal entries and financial reports, and assists with month-end and fiscal year-end closing.
• Safeguards confidential financial, payroll, banking, employee, purchasing, and vendor information.

Responsabilités

• Maintains general ledger accounts and supports financial records in accordance with GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
• Prepares and posts recurring, adjusting, accrual, and year-end journal entries; reviews for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Reconciles general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, bank accounts, investment accounts, and payroll accounts.
• Supports monthly and year-end closing procedures, including account analysis, accruals, and closing workpapers.
• Assists with budgetary compliance, grant requirements, contracts, and internal controls.
• Backups for payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and routine purchasing as needed.
