Job summary

Kalas MFG INC in Denver is seeking a Machine Operator - Multiwire for the 2nd shift to run 2-3 multiwire machines, perform set ups, and ensure quality requirements are met.

You will conduct minor maintenance, handle wire scraps, run annealing tests, and document data in the MRP system while maintaining safety and housekeeping. Must be forklift certified; overtime may be required; full-time on site at the Denver plant.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified.
• Operates 2-3 multiwire machines per shift.
• Maintains records and reports to MRP system.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all setups and change overs, operates 2-3 multiwire machines to meet customers and quality requirements.
• Performs minor maintenance on multiwire machines, including cleaning and general housekeeping, reporting any problems to supervisor.
• Pulls off wire scrap from spools and places in proper containers.
• Performs annealing tests, measures wire gauge and performs other tests.
• Maintains records, submits paperwork and reports to MRP system.
