Overview

Service Wire Company is a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable. We are seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator in Phoenix, AZ.

Position Summary

This full‑time role operates production machinery, monitors wire quality, records fabrication data, and transports materials on a forklift. Shift is 11pm‑7:30am.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up machine for production by positioning the payoff, feeder, and take‑up
• Operate machinery by adjusting and maintaining production controls according to specifications
• Monitor wire quality during production and of finished product
• Perform routine lubrication of machinery parts and minor preventative maintenance
• Observe machine operation for equipment malfunction and report immediately
• Record detailed daily production data
• Maintain safety standards and clean work environment
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
• Strong basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and written
• Cooperatively works and interacts with members of the manufacturing department and other company employees
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate‑control
