Sares Regis Group Residential in Sunnyvale seeks a Maintenance Technician I for our 479-unit community, The Martin. The role supports turnover and renovation work, responds to service requests, and participates in after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and appliances.
• Knowledge and skill to perform quality work with required tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules and manuals.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills; weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Works in turnover and renovation units and responds to maintenance requests.
• Handles external and internal repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers and HVAC.
• Participates in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to repair or fabricate parts and fixtures.
• Fabricates and repairs cabinets, counters, benches and wooden structures.
• Maintains inventory and completes related paperwork.
• Keeps storage facilities and equipment in good condition.
