Grand Valley State University in Allendale is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a wide range of trades on the 2nd shift. You will assist electricians, plumbers, painters, and other shop personnel, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to campus service requests.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors, with training provided.

Qualificações

• Experience in building maintenance to perform essential functions listed.
• Proven ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and training as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist all trades and maintenance staff on work assignments and may work independently.
• Perform general building maintenance in all trades.
• Repair and preventive maintenance of building equipment as assigned.
• Follow work instructions and safety standards.
• Lead and work with student staff as needed.
