Job summary

Alpine Cleaning & Restoration Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Handyman / Maintenance Technician in Utah (Smithfield). The role requires a broad range of hands-on skills for repair, maintenance, and general construction in residential and commercial properties.

You will identify problems, determine repair methods, and complete work safely and with high quality. Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, flooring, doors, and overall property maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of handyman/maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, flooring, and basic electrical work.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs, maintenance, and construction tasks at residential and commercial properties.
• Complete carpentry and general construction work, including wood repairs, trim, framing, sanding, drywall repairs, painting, staining, and other finish work.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, faucets, fixtures, drains, and minor leaks.
• Perform basic electrical repairs and maintenance, including light fixtures, wiring, switches, outlets, and breakers.
• Repair or replace damaged flooring, doors, and interior finishes.
• Inspect completed work to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Report progress, material needs, and issues to the Project Manager.
• Maintain documentation and complete required paperwork.
• Work independently and as part of a team; follow safety policies.
