Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in general maintenance.
Must be capable of climbing ladders and working from a high lift or scaffolding.
Must be capable of operating a forklift and any other heavy equipment necessary to complete a given task.
Must be able to use a computer to generate work orders/retrieve work orders.
Must have a valid and current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supports the School’s mission and policies, including the Employee Handbook.
Logs, organizes and delivers orders to faculty and staff for both campuses.
Operates facilities management software and documents building surfaces for issues.
Performs general masonry and finishing work; Welds with arc or gas welder.
Maintains plumbing systems including irrigation and pool systems; ensures safe handling of materials.
Repairs and maintains equipment, paints surfaces, and cleans work areas.
