Job summary

RI Council 94 seeks a Maintenance Repair Person to perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks across plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and general plant upkeep at various facilities in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing and maintaining equipment, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This full-time position requires a valid RI driver's license and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform skilled journeyman tasks in multiple trades.
• Two years of building or plant maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing fixtures and steam systems.
• Repair doors, walls, and light electrical and lighting circuits.
• Operate and maintain various heavy equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours facility emergencies as needed.
