Job summary
Advanced Management Company (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an 183-unit apartment community. The role entails repairing and maintaining interior and exterior areas, coordinating with residents, vendors, and office staff, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Pay is $27.00 per hour with Friday and Saturday off. The position requires a strong sense of urgency, proactive communication, and experience across plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and tiling.
Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in all trades including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and tiling.
- Must maintain reliable transportation daily, valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Meets physical requirements: bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds.
- Available to work on Saturday or Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Handle resident maintenance requests and submit detailed work orders.
- Perform interior and exterior repairs and preventative maintenance on the property and amenities.
- Walk vacant or presumed vacant units with residents or Supervisors to determine damages.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain shop tools and equipment.
- Maintain and organize maintenance shop per AMC standards for property tours.
