Job summary

Obsolete Site seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to perform multi-trade maintenance, troubleshoot facilities, and repair specialized equipment. The role requires independence to operate heavy machinery and manage complex structural overhauls in a demanding setting.

Responsibilities include electrical work up to 500 volts, HVAC preventive maintenance, plumbing and piping, welding, and facility-wide inspection. On-call duties and a 13-month TERM position with potential extension are included.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, service manuals, sketches and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of high-voltage building systems and multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-trade maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Operate heavy construction machinery and manage electrical distribution tasks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and perform welding as needed.
• Repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems and test for refrigerant leaks.
• Plumbing and pipefitting tasks including extensive water and sewer systems.
• Plan and execute projects from layout to completion including structures and roofing.
