Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local team in Milford, PA. You will perform routine maintenance across facilities, equipment, and fixtures using several crafts—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more—adhering to safety and maintenance schedules.

You’ll diagnose issues, operate tools, respond to emergencies, and document repairs while continuing training to stay current with Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls and document repair activities.
• Inspect facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues and ensure safety and reliability.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
