Bass Pro Shops in Memphis seeks a General Maintenance to handle a wide range of repair and preventive maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical trades. The role supports store operations, energy conservation, and waste management programs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or vocational training, strong mechanical ability, and experience in maintenance-related fields.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School diploma or 1-2 year vocational training.
• High mechanical ability expected.
• Willingness to supervise others and oversee work.
• Verifiable experience in maintenance-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical repair: lamp changes, light fixture repair/installation, diagnostics.
• Performs plumbing repair: pump and fixture installations, replacements, repairs, drain cleaning.
• Maintains understanding of HVAC operation and maintenance procedures.
• Performs mechanical repair on tractors, forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Repairs the building: painting, wall repair, minor carpentry, floor repair and related tasks.
• Executes preventive & reparative maintenance to support energy conservation and waste management programs.
• Oversees contractors and maintains equipment required to perform work.
• Performs a variety of maintenance tasks with emphasis on practical results over any single trade.
• Fulfills ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
