SAFEbuilt is seeking a Combination Building Inspector to join our nationwide team of professionals in Texas. You will inspect residential, commercial and public facility projects, interpret codes, and communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of field experience, strong knowledge of building codes, and relevant ICC certifications with a Texas license.This on-site role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for licensing and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience interpreting building codes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the public and officials.
• ICC inspector certifications and Texas Plumbing Inspector license are preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of residential, commercial and public facility construction projects.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Review residential and commercial plans and calculations for code compliance.
• Provide interpretations of applicable standards and local ordinances.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
• Enter inspection results into permitting software.
• Perform other related duties as required.
