Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – New Kent seeks a Kitchen Crew member to prepare food, greet guests, and handle payments in a fast-paced dining area. You will rotate between cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing, and dishwashing while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years related experience, Serv-Safe certification, and a valid racing license. Must be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training is expected.
• Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certification.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle payments with cash, credit cards, or comps.
• Set up cash drawer prior to shift and maintain it during the shift.
• Assist across cooking, cashiering, serving, bussing and dishwashing.
• Ensure accuracy of bills and provide correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.
• Prepare hot and cold foods and follow recipes and guidelines.
• Monitor food quality and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Complete preparation records and close the kitchen per shift.
