Job summary

PepperJacks Subs is seeking a dependable Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced restaurant team. This hands-on role spans multiple stations including prep, fryer, and POS duties, supporting a smooth service flow.

Ideal candidates have restaurant experience, excellent customer service skills, and are comfortable using Toast POS. This in-person position offers growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• English proficiency to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Previous restaurant, deli, sandwich shop, or food prep experience preferred.
• Comfortable operating Toast POS system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subs, sandwiches, and salads according to recipes and standards.
• Safely operate a meat slicer, fryer, and other kitchen equipment after training.
• Complete daily food prep, portioning, slicing, and stocking.
• Answer phones and take call-in orders accurately.
• Enter and manage customer orders using Toast POS.
• Maintain proper food temperatures, portioning, and presentation.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
