Job summary

Angry Chickz in Los Angeles is seeking a Crew Member with cook responsibilities to prepare quality dishes across fry, cashier, prep, seasoning, breading and expo stations. Training will be provided to build confidence across all stations.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain sanitation and follow safety standards while collaborating with teammates to deliver great guest experiences. English proficiency preferred; Spanish helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous.
• Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food with care and ensure quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Set up and sanitize stations on the line.
• Keep food prep areas and utensils clean and organized.
• Label and rotate food products appropriately.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment (grill, fryers, stoves).
• Assist dietary needs for meals as required.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively.
