Job summary

Enclos, a leading design-build specialty subcontractor, is seeking a Corporate Compliance Specialist in Bloomington, MN. You will work with the General Counsel to build a scalable compliance foundation across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with legal, operations, safety, finance, and HR to support growth and new opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in corporate compliance, licensing, or related tasks in construction or commercial real estate, and a strong knowledge of licensure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Legal, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing corporate compliance, paralegal, or legal tasks, or licensing within construction/real estate industries.
• Strong understanding of surety bonds, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation requirements as they relate to licensure.
• Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and ability to handle high-volume filings independently.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable compliance systems across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee foreign entity qualification, business registrations, and DBA filings with Secretary of State offices in each operating jurisdiction.
• Serve as subject matter expert for contractor licenses and engineering certificates of authorization across all jurisdictions; research and advise on licensing requirements for new jurisdictions; monitor renewals.
• Coordinate with qualifying parties to ensure license sponsorship and good standing.
• Maintain organized records to support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Coordinate with various departments to prepare, submit, and maintain prequalification packages for contractors and owners.
