Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory surgery center in Oshkosh, WI. You will assist in preparing the operating room, scrubbing in, passing instruments, and supporting surgeons across multispecialty cases.

The ideal candidate has a surgical technologist training program, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification; ACLS is required in the Cath Lab. Schedule includes 4 hours weekly with 0.1 FTE, on-site only.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a surgical technologist training program required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS required in Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Prepares room and ensures sterile setup for procedures.
• Scrubs, assists with draping, passes instruments, and maintains sterile technique.
• Assists with patient transfers and maintains patient safety throughout operations.
