Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related science.
• Must obtain ASCP MT/H/C registry within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to perform testing procedures and interpret results.
• Ability to handle specimens properly.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient and QC testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
• Report and document critical values according to policy.
• Prioritize workload to meet Turn-Around-Times.
• Maintain inventory and restock workstations.
• Monitor equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and arrange maintenance.
• Participate in inspections and comply with ethics and privacy policies.
