Job summary

Aurora Health Care Central, Inc. is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide skilled, patient-centered care across multiple units.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families throughout the continuum. You will monitor conditions, respond to changes, adjust plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document accurately in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across multiple units using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care and engage patients and families throughout the continuum.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, adjust care plans as needed, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record and may administer medications, treatments, and therapies per established protocols.
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations, floating as needed to support patient care across the organization.
• Uphold ANA Code of Ethics and contribute to a safe, respectful, patient-centered environment and ongoing professional development.
