Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health, Inc. seeks a Float Pool RN to provide scalable nursing coverage across Aurora Health facilities in the Aurora region. This role offers exposure to multiple departments, builds broad clinical skills, and supports patient care in a dynamic system.

You will operate within established standards, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to safe, high-quality patient experiences in varying acute care settings.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using the nursing process and plan individualized interventions.
• Adapt quickly to new departments and shift locations within the Aurora Health system.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education as part of interdisciplinary care.
