Job summary

Providence Surgery Center, a USPI-affiliated ambulatory surgery center, seeks a PRN Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to support surgeons before, during, and after operations. The CSFA will ensure sterile technique, patient safety, and high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced multispecialty setting.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited CSFA program graduate credential, current CSFA certification, and a valid BLS.

Qualifications

• CSFA credential is required and must be current.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical First Assist or equivalent program.
• Active certification and ongoing continuing education are required.
• Current BLS certification is required (ACLS preferred).
• Experience in a multispecialty operating room or ambulatory surgery center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to surgeons before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adherance to regulatory standards.
• Work as a key member of the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient care.
