Qualifications

• BCLS certification required, preferred Handle with Care certification.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Experience in administrative duties and patient care activities.

How you'll contribute

• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Reviews provider orders prior to patient leaving the clinic.
• Obtains informed consent for invasive procedures.
• Schedules referral appointments as necessary or as instructed by the provider. Maintains patient information in the computer system.
• Schedules and registers patients. Maintains patient information on the computer system.
• Posts charges, completes paperwork, collects copays, deductibles and account balances.
• Assists in the completion of "end of day balancing/closing" and deposit preparations for courier pickup.
• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
• Performs clerical duties, aligned with nursing station activities.
