Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Facilities Maintenance Technician I to perform maintenance and basic construction tasks across range and building properties at the Academy.

You will work with Academy personnel, instructors, and support teams to keep facilities safe, clean, and functioning. The role involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment upkeep, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 0-2 years of related experience or training.
• Broad understanding of SIG SAUER firearms.
• Range and CPR certification.
• Experience with heavy machinery operations and HAZMAT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of range and building properties.
• Oversee installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste systems.
• Log activities into Monday.com and complete maintenance requests using eMaint.
• Assist Events team with setup for small to large scale events on the SEC and Academy property.
• Maintain heavy equipment, snow equipment, landscaping tools, and fleet vehicles.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of ranges and ensure equipment is in peak condition.
