Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residents and staff by performing preventive maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical, grounds keeping and related tasks.

Under general supervision, you will complete repairs, ensure safety and comfort, assist with snow removal and vehicle maintenance, and contribute to a clean, functional environment. A high school diploma and NYS driver's license are preferred, with at least 1 year of

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
NYS Drivers license in good standing.
At least 1 year of job related experience in maintenance fields.
In lieu of 1 year of experience, completion of a building related trade/technical program accepted.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Performs major maintenance projects including plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, electrical, and snow removal.
Ensure safety, functionality and comfort of residents, staff and visitors.
