Arkema is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage a broad spectrum of maintenance activities in our process plant. The role covers both electrical/instrumentation and mechanical work, with a progression plan toward full competency in all areas as the candidate develops.

The position focuses on troubleshooting, repair, replacement, calibration and ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with industry standards. A minimum of 5 years in process environments is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years working experience in process plant environments in electrical or mechanical trades.
• Apprenticeship program may waive minimum experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and direct procurement of repair parts and materials for maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of field instrumentation devices for process equipment.
• Install, calibrate, inspect and troubleshoot instruments and electrical equipment per NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, ISA and company standards.
• Read and interpret P&ID’s, ladder logic, electrical one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Work safely on AC distribution systems from 480 V to 120 V.
• Troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits, VFDs, motors and MCCs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Perform PMs as needed.
• Run piping, install equipment, use rigging, apply proper gasket torque techniques.
• Be a Safety Leader and promote a Safety First culture.
• Support Plant Operations to minimize production impacts and enhance reliability.
• Maintain high workmanship standards whether working alone or as part of a team.
