Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair production equipment in a cold production environment. You will set up, adjust and break down line machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in SAP.

The role requires welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, pneumatics and other maintenance skills; must lift up to 70 lbs, work 8–12 hour shifts, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to read and write, communicate with management and coworkers
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, climb stairs and ladders
• Must be willing to work in cold environments and loud production areas
• Must complete all required training for the job

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment and assets to keep production running
• Set up, adjust and breakdown production line machinery
• Record daily activities and equipment history in SAP
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled by supervisor
