Job summary

Monroe Group Ltd. is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform general building repairs and make-ready duties on vacant units. You will handle tasks across electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, locks and HVAC components, ensuring timely completion and Safe, compliant operations. The role includes coordinating with vendors, scheduling preventive maintenance, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance repairs.
• Complete unit make-ready duties on empty units.
• Respond to work orders for electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, locks, tile, blinds/windows, HVAC repairs.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Assist with annual inspections and safety procedures.
• Carry on-call responsibilities for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
