Gardens of Somerset is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in Little Rock, AR. The position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment to support site operations with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance experience, with ability to read manuals and work orders, and to perform basic plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must meet healthcare requirements, including TB test.
• Must be in positive standing with healthcare agencies (Employment Clearance Registry and Adult Maltreatment Registry).
• Associates’ degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Repair production machines including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Coordinate major vehicle maintenance to minimize service interruptions.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and calibrate equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Carry out plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and handling equipment safely.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Adhere to safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
