Job summary

WestRock in Little Rock, AR seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and grounds. You will work independently with limited supervision and report to the Site Engineer.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance (painting, plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical), inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance. You will use PPE and operate man lifts as needed and collaborate with coworkers as required.

Qualifications

3+ years in facilities maintenance preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Knowledge of general maintenance.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Able to use man lifts and safety systems during operation of lifts.
Experience with fabrication, light welding.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Forklift certification preferred.
Experience working alone and with diverse teams.
Self-motivated and organized.
Strong communication with coworkers.
Basic computer skills, email communication.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical repairs.
Perform building inspections (fire sprinklers, extinguishers, HVAC).
Repair and improve building and infrastructure.
Support and maintain fire protection systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on interior and exterior areas of the facilities.
Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
