Job summary

Gardner--white-Furnitur is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing and facility operations running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime.

This full-time role requires flexibility, safety diligence, and the ability to respond to calls as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with team to prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in installation and setup of new equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and fix basic structural issues as needed.
• Handle other duties/projects as assigned.
