Job summary

Rebound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive upkeep of the facility and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs.

You will inspect emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, lighting and plumbing, follow preventive maintenance schedules, and assist as backup for emergency call-outs while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.
Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs.
Back-up for call person in case of emergency; respond timely and appropriately.
Handle equipment safely and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports as requested.
Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, test/start generator weekly, inspect fire alarm system and extinguishers, test lighting and record data as required.
Inspect and maintain plumbing system and fixtures; repair or refinish furniture as needed.
