Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a maintenance andjanitorial professional to perform property upkeep, light carpentry, welding, plumbing, painting and overhead door repairs at the Service Center in Rockford, IL.

The role includes inspecting facilities, performing preventive maintenance, general cleaning, and troubleshooting. Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, follow safety protocols, and be flexible for night or weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent background
• Must be 17+ years of age
• Able to read and interpret work orders and manuals
• Must be able to lift ~70 lbs and work under time constraints
• Flexible for night/weekend shifts and safety practices
• Ability to work independently or in a team and interact well with others

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance and landscaping
• Perform light carpentry
• Welding, cutting, plumbing, painting and overhead door repair
• Inspect and perform maintenance within the Service Center building
• General cleaning (sweeping, mopping, buffing, dusting)
• Troubleshoot and correct problems
• Repair or replace defective parts and systems
• Perform safety inspections and document findings
• Meet attendance requirements and be flexible with duties as needed
